My best friend & me know each other since two years. I have always given soo much of love & affection to her... Helped her and her family in everyway, financially, emotionally.... And never asked for anything in return.. Even though I was crying, I always made her smile... Whenever we fought, I was the one who resolved it.. I always kept my ego aside & said sorry to her even if the fault wasn't mine... She says she loves me but she never takes interest in me. I want her to take interest in me... I want to be important for her... I want that she should also express her feelings for me.. I want that she should be desperate to talk to me.. My doing or not doing anything should affect her.. Please help me.. I'm in a bad condition & I need help... I need guidance... :( What do I do ? Is there anyway I can test her feelings for me? Please help... :(

I love her a lot & I can't even imagine my life without her.... I'll die without her... There has to be some way out... Isn't there a way to make her realize my importance? to make her care for me? Please answer my question and show me a way... I've never felt so helpless before... Guide me...

there is an old saying " A friend in need is a friend indeed"
Sounds to me that this friend only needs you when she needs something. Honey, that is not a true friend, she is a user. You sound like a wonderful person , you need to find a friend who shows you the appreciation that you deserve. I know it sounds mean , and it will be hard, but forget her, go out and make a true friend.

Being a friend and being a doormat are two entirely different things. Also, this is key and very important friends DO NOT EVER test each other that is just mean spirited! If you want your friend to respect you do respectful things. Don't always act like the lowest person in the relationship friends allow each other mutual respect and dignity. One hopes it is not too late for you to develop a friendship with this person you say you care for.

Honey, You don't have to prove yourself to anyone and you most certainly don't need to beg to anyone either. When the two of you were younger and you guys became best friends that was because you guys had grown up with each other and the two of you probably had plenty of things that were in common and you guys had enjoyed each others company. But now that the two of you are older the things that you guys had once enjoyed and had in common is probably different now.
You don't need to only have her friendship. Life changes and so do people. There are many others whom our out there that I believe would truly honor your friendship. Don't tear yourself apart she has probably found a type of life style that is different from yours.
Good Luck
&
God Bless

Kudo's for you i would love to be your friend!
However you can't make other people feel a certian way our feelings are theonly thing in this world we can control as an individual.
if you can't trust what your friend says " she loves you" then why did you ask her? she may not be as a good as friend as you are and don't think that makes her a bad friend just a different type of friend!
I would just ask her why she don't take intrest in your life?
and maybe try not to let her walk on you either
you seem like one of those peeps that are supper nice and have a hard time sticking up for yourself!
just to make someone feel better your going to take owner ship of someones mess up!
that don't speak to highly of yourself and if you don't take intrest in your own life why should anyone else!
hope that helps a little!

Friendship shouldnt be that hard. If your best friend isnt showing interest in you then maybe they are not your friend at all. Maybe they are just using you? I think you should just put it all out on the table and tell your friend that you feel like a doormat and that you feel that you are putting a lot in to the friendship and they are not. If they care at all they will apologize and fix things to keep the friendship. If not, get better friends. :)

first of all you should have to make yourself important for anyone but your self. you don't have to prove nothing. just be yourself. tell her how you feel that you want her to tell you how she feels, if she cant. move on and find someone. but the best thing you could do is stop trying to be someone that you are not. and be what you are. good luck.

what kind of relationship are you asking of this friend? sounds like you might be asking way too much for yourself. maybe the reason this person isn't returning any affection back is because you might be scaring her, might be suffocating her, and it really sounds like you might need some kind of counseling for yourself if you feel like this person is the only friend for you.
