I think of being pricked, because whenever I pick one I always temporarily forget they have thorns.

I only think of the smell. If i think of the thorns then i will be too afraid to try to pick a rose, but when i think of the smell, by the time im done piciking, i cant feel the pain cuz im in a great mood.

I think of love. Love is symbolized by the rose, on one hand you have the beauty but if not handled correctly(tenderly) it will prick you with it's thorns.

Niether, I just see them in my mind. I dont notice the thorns or the smell.

Thorns definitely.
I think my problem is....I don't think they smell Heavenly at all!! Infact, I kinda dread when someone says "oh aren't they beautiful....here, smell them!"....It's just like..."Ick...how 'bout I go smell my garbage can...!" Not much difference to me!.... ;-)
