If a friend is completely acting stupid, what should I do??

My friend is being dumb and it feels like our friendship is one big competiotion...what should I do to let her know to just stop?

A big competition to be dumb? What is she doing exactly? It sounds to me like you should just let her have some air for a little while. Just leave her alone. It might make you feel better too.

many friendships (especially ones with the same sex) become competitive. why? i don't really know. but why don't you try to talk to her about it with out attacking her. maybe she does it and that is just her nature. but the easiest way to let her know that it bothers you is to tell her directly.
