I think it is nearly impossible to live in a safe area with a good school district and minimum traffic. IMO the best place in Philly to live is Society Hill and send the kids to private school. But you would have to be uber rich for that.

Haddonfield is a great option, it has the best HS in south Jersey - Haddonfield Memorial. But the traffic over the bridge every morning can be a pain!

There are parts in simple terms outdoors of Philadelphia that are not scary or risky the position you'll come across a house for round one hundred forty,000. they are called the "trolley-automobile suburbs" (the old, nonetheless functioning trolleys of SEPTA nonetheless serve those neighborhoods) in Delaware County...in simple terms south and west of the city. top Darby, Collingdale and Sharon Hill are examples of the cities there. strong success!

None of what you seeks exists here or anywhere near here. Traffic is horrid everywhere, people are rude, schools are falling apart, full of criminal types and corruption, and real estate prices are absolutely insane. Oh, and taxes and utilities are so far out of control you'll pay more for your electric bill than for a new Mercedes. Hubby drew the short straw on this one.
