The world is not in any danger. Even if it gets hit with multiple meteors, it will still be here. We humans may be gone, but the world will still be here.

Everyone should take this on board, it is hard to destroy the world. If the ice caps melt, the seas rise, all mammals die off, birds all die from flu, the world will still be here.

The world will not need saved, until the sun expands and consumes it, and we have a number of billions of years to wait for that.

Now, saving mankind, the ginkgo tree, or ants, you can do that. But not the world.

The old "Think Globally Act Locally" is the best way to start. And single average person will have a difficult time making changes for the whole world. But like a stone being dropped in a pond the ripples from local actions spread out often they dilute in intensity but they do affect things even below the surface.

The sky is not falling, things are mostly pretty good.

The only way to redeem the world is to destroy it. Everything wrong with this world is a part of it, and in removing those problems you remove a part of the world. To remove all of the problems would require removing all of the world.

Unless you can destroy the world, I doubt it.

I’ll assume you’re being sincere rather than egotistical and say that I admire your desire to be part of the solution.

Try to find comfort in the fact that the universe always finds balance. There is an equal amount of fortunate, agreeable events in the world as disagreeable ones.
