They aren't. It's just your view. In MY view, nothing but GM products break down. (Of course, I have an exclusive to do all the tows for the local GM dealership.)

I haven't noticed that here in Fl. However, I did read that in the UK there were thousands of cars breaking down due to something they were putting in the gas. I guess they were trying to eke out the gas because it is so expensive now and it damaged the car engines.

Because they are mechanical machines defined as "Needs Maintenance"

Use equals wear, wear begats need of repair and replacement according to the Standards used in Manufacture and materials and planning.

because for a car company to make money people need to buy cars. if everyones cars lasted forever no one would buy cars and they would make no money.
