for lying on the couch.....napping all day....not helping with the kids....farting constantly....smoking cigarettes in the house all freaking day and snoring so loud the neighbors have complained

Well, were almost married (Not yet though) about 4 or so months away.... However; if he were to be my husband I would never have to thank him for them kind of activities because he wouldn't participate in them. Is it possible (not saying it is, and I am not saying it isn't) but maybe... You could be contributing to the results of him reacting/doing the things he is doing. "People in glasses houses should not throw stones". I am just trying to say it is possible that you could be doing some stuff to have him react, "punish" you or whatever it is he is trying to do to retaliate.

Sound's like you are married to a real loser.I don't have any of those problems with my husband.My husband works & he shares equal responsibilities with our kid's.I thank him all the time for letting me be a stay at home mom..
