is the character 'Joker' proposing a homosexual act with the the other recruit ? I never understood that scene! I hate to waste one of my 5 questions on it, but i might as well resolve this question.

No, I'm pretty sure he was talking about the recruit's sister. Maybe it would have made more sense if he was talking about the guy's mom.

No, Joker wants to have sex with the other recruit's sister (apparently he has seen pictures of her), and offers to trade for the opportunity. The other recruit then asks what Joker has to offer
In a way, it is showing just how crude these Marines could get without offending each other.

One of my favorite movies! No, he is just joking with Cowboy saying he wants to sleep with his sister. It's a running joke between the two of them. He makes a couple comments about sleeping with his sister throughout the movie.
