Cleaners usually get minmum wage so you could charge about £5.70 per hr or you'd be better making it a fixed rate like £30 (that's around 5 hrs work) per day or more.
That's a great business idea, good luck!

Someone in my area does 1lb of ironing for £1.00 - however, if you are going to be ironing shirts you may prefer to charge per item or bundle or perhaps by the hour? As for cleaning, in my area it varies from £5-£15 per hour - depending on whether it's done by an individual or a company, if they have insurance and if they, or the client, provide the cleaning materials. How about ringing around posing as a potential customer and asking companies near you - you could look online www.yell.com - that's the Yellow Pages... Good luck.

You could try ringing your local laundrette and ask them how much they charge for ironing a shirt if they offer the service. Where I live general ironing is £1 a pound, not much for ironing a shirt. Cleaning I have no idea

I always assumed it was 1 pound per shirt....if you buy a proffessional press ( i saw one on QVC once and here is the link ) A small investment that you can recoup fast........you can whizz thorugh them and make a packet - then ask the other docs to give you their shirts - world domination in no time ;)

£30 per morning, it is between 3, do a couple of mornings a week then you can find some other part time work in the afternoons, or have the afternoon off.
