If your man is letting his mother treat you like this he is AWFUL. Tell him what she is doing. If it comes down to it he is going to have to chose. Don't live with an evil witch like her! If you cannot afford to buy a house you should rent. If you already have children, I am sorry but perhaps you should have thought about your accomodation problem beforehand.

Get out as fast as you can! Can you stay with someone in your family? What is your husband saying about this? He should be supporting you and if he isn't I really think you should see if you can live somewhere else although I know this is easier said than done. Personally I would rather rent a room than stay there. Look for somewhere else and tell them you are going if things don't change. Your Mother in law does not seem very nice but maybe you could have a last go and talk to her.

The fact that your husband takes his mother's side is absolutely terrible and just not acceptable. I think you have to face the fact that his is either a mummy's boy or he doesn't love you and your son. He certainly doesn't respect you. I would put an end to this by telling him you are moving out (after you have found somewhere to go) and it is up to him whether he wants to come with you or not. If he stays with his mother then you have got your answer - sorry, but I really think you deserve more than this. Good luck x

Have you spoken to your husband about the situation? Also confront her and ask her why she is being so vicious. If worse comes to the worse ask the council for help getting you somewhere else to live - im sure this situation is stressful for you.

The mommy's little boy syndrome. Sounds like he just can't get away from mommy. There's too many good men out there, and even being alone is better than this.
