www.collegeboard.com is the name of the site where you get to apply for taking your test. You can buy the book called Barron's SAT 1. It's really good. You have English and math lessons in it and prep tests. I had that book, but in the end I was to lazy to study, so I didn't study at all. The night before my SAT 1 I went to some party and got a little bit tipsy, and the next day I scored 1100 point. So, as you can see, you can get pretty decent score without studying and slightly hung-over. You just have to be smart, I guess.

go to www.collegeboard.com, create an account if you don't have one, once you've logged in go to start a registration for the SAT, once you've done that you can print out a practice test and take it then submit your answers online and they can give you a score.

It's collegeboard that gives out the test (there's also test prep materials provided on the site - you can also buy studying books from them).
