Mole problem.?

Sure its been asked a thousand times, but what's the best way to get rid of moles?

Moles go where there is food. Remove the food, the moles will go other places. Grubs are the main food of moles so get grub killer from a local garden center.

I like the non toxic way. I hand pick the japanese beetles and drop them into soapy water. That keeps the grub populations down. I also have cats who catch moles, though they won't eat them. And you might want to step back and decide, how much damage are they REALLY doing? Moles don't eat plants, and a molehill 2 or 3 times a summer is a small price to pay for all that grub control.

I personally don,t like to put out poison as I have pets and feed birds and chipmonks,but from what I.ve read that is the best way to go.I no longer have as much of a mole problem since I got cats.Not all cats hunt as good as ours and he's well fed and a house cat most of the time. Good Luck*/

i got rid of mine by using a "old wives tale". And it worked so well that 4 years later I still have no moles. I spread Ferriet Poo around my property line, and mixed some in flower beds. I also mixed into my garden. worked so well that all my neighbors did also.

Sensible's right.. take away the food. deal with the grubs that they love and then your yard doesn't look so good to them.

you can buy beneficial nematodes that infect grubs and kill them, leaving other insects alone. it's the best way to go.. or you can poison everything.

Trapping is effective, too.. but if there's food available, they will com back!

Put mothballs down his tunnels. Cut into the tunnels every few feet or so and drop a few mothballs down. The smell repels animals. Hopefully he will move on. Good luck to you!
