I have a problem with the power and temperature with my comp. I have a comp with:
-Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz,
-Motherboard Asus P4P800,
-2 Gb RAM,
-ATI Radeon 9550 256Mb,
When i check the temperatures, i got a result saying that:
CPU temp: 82-84 degrees C
Motherboard:40-42 degrees C
Harddrive: 35-36 degrees C
Cooling fan speed:2700 rpm

So is it mean i have to buy a new cooling fan to cool down my CPU to solve the problem of sudden turning off?

Your lucky you got a P4, if that was a AMD it would have been fried a long time ago.

OK, I would suggest to avoid games for now as those temps are very unsafe.

Check your CPU fan, make sure its running, clean it out, clean out the heatsink, make sure its properly seated on the CPU.

If your fan is shot or you just want to get a better, higher performance CPU cooler find out what socket is your CPU and get one of the same socket type. (I recommend Thermaltake or Zalman)

Get a good thermal paste such as arctic silver 5.

That fan is running to slow. Check the heat sink, see if you have build up on there thats preventing the fan from cooling the cpu.....This may be the problem, if that doesnt work, replace that fan asap. Do not run this pc until you get that cooling problem solved, most cpu's cant stand temps that high.

The aspects of you laptop are very sufficient to play the video games which you suggested however the RAM would have a situation and desires to be wiped clean or something so - in case you have greater suitable than one RAM attempt fiddling with purely one in all them and takeoff the different from the board and attempt enjoying returned. -otherwise your cooling equipment isn't useful sufficient to quiet down the the processor so attempt anew FAN .
