- Goal setting, all around. It's an unusual format, but it is definitely an effective path, i.e. Set a goal, work every day, monitor am I getting there, evaluate. Changed my life, I retired at 32. One day, I will shake his hand for helping me to set myself up for life.
Studying Japanese philosophers won't hurt, either. The Shambala Books series, tiny paperbacks crammed full of knowledge & wisdom.
Stay away from the taoist Chinese stuff for a while, until you are very advanced, it is confusing for the average person who is not ready, but later on, once mastery is there, its like a nice frosting for the soul.
