My beginning of my last cycl was Jan 24 and I should be 8 wks pregnant. But I have been bleeding since week 5 and had cramping early on but am just lightly but steadily bleeding now. They thought I was miscarrying did ultrasound found nothing did blood hcg was 80. 4-5 days later another ultrasound nothing bloodwork 180. Four days later bloodwork 355. They thought it was ectopic went to ob/gyn yesterday and she doesnt think its ectopic.Ultrasound again still nothing. Im getting scared and docter thinks its inevitable for a miscarriage but isnt 100% sure. Docter ordered more bloodwork, might get results back today. Anybody got any insight or experience?

I have been bleeding for 3 weeks. Only cramps in the beginning and clots. My hcg isn't doubling every 2 days like it should, but instead its doubling every 4 days.

My grandmother had regular periods and cramps throughout all 8 of her pregnancies and never once miscarried. I am not saying that it won't happen and wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy, but don't get too stressed out thinking that a misscarriage is inevitable, because it isn't, and the added stress won't help your situation any. Just try to relax, as hard as it may be, and know that other people have gone through the same thing and have produced beautiful babies :)

Oh sweetie i am so sorry. Are they seeing the baby or not? And you HCG is going up like it should but it seems very low. at 8 weeks it should be in the thousands. So that's why your Dr is saying a miscarriage is inevitable, the bleeding is not good, but your body is trying to hold onto the baby so its not rejecting it out, that's a good sign. And remember that God has the last say in it all, have faith and pray. And try to take it as easy as possible, get lots of rest and stay off your feet that can help out also.I will keep you in my prayers, i hope it all works out for you , good luck and God bless

It sounds like a miscarriage sorry, this happens so often, my daughter just went through this and was told that 80% of pregnancy ends in miscarriage. If that is what is happening I am sorry but hopfully you can try again soon.

Stay in bed or on the couch and put your feet up take it easy, you might just need to relax for a few days! Don't stress about it and just give yourself a rest, even if you have to call in to work b/c *cough you don't feel good! and just take a day to your self, but keep them feet up! good luck i hope this helps!

I had full blown periods until my 7th month with all my kids. I would go for more tests and just take it easy.
