Are we talking the Bram Stoker's brand of vampire or are we talking the third-shift, goth-like vampires? I think Bram Stoker's vampires are superstition. Based on real events, but stories that have been embellished as they have been passed down from generation to generation. The third-shift, goth-like vampires are only a modern developement I think.

I lived in San Fran for most of my life and they are there in the clubs, they wear make up and each one is very different some wear the old clothes like the robe and stuff some look punkish some modish but they practice drinking blood from willing victims who allow themselves to be be cut and sucked on although a few out there will cut and take from people who are drunk or high without their consent. I stay away from those clubs but you can't keep from hearing about them if they are in your community.

There probably are some vampires these days. But, they are probably in a different part of the world and they feed on animals not humans. Possibly Hawaii?

I think the whole idea of vampires actually started with the misunderstanding of the Last Supper. Where Jesus says "This is my blood" etc. Those who drink the "blood" are deemed to be immortal, and somehow that got twisted around. Wow, that just came to me...

i truy don't think there are any vampires in this world. I think there are people who drink blood to seem like vampires, kinda like wannabes, but i dont think they are the true sense. I think they are just made for the movies. good question.

there probaly is vampires today but nobody has every fond one but there is a good posibility there is, its always good to keep your hopes up i still think there are dragons in this world but i never saw 1 but i love to see 1 before i die
