New wounds or old wounds being re-opened? I'm not sure which is worse for me....

Depends on the wound, I guess. Old emotional wounds being reopened by the one who caused it in the first place is worse for me. Especially if they apologized and then did it again anyway, then the apology meant nothing and you lose trust. Ouch!

I think the old wounds hurt more, though new wounds can be more confusing
