I like wilco a lot. Have you ever listened to "Mermaid Avenue" by Billy Bragg and Wilco? They're a bunch of Woody Gunthrie songs that Bob Dylan was supposed to record, but they got lost. After they were found (like 40 years later), Bob Dylan didn't think he could sing them, so Gunthrie's daughter have them to Billy Bragg and Wilco.
Absolutely amazing.

not me. there are some songs I like by wilco but really I don't know what all the fuss is about. and OK I'll also admit I don't get my morning jacket or son volt either. or the Dead. or widespread panic. I don't get it.

After hearing it stream on their web site last week - No. I guess I am just into the old stuff. It sounds just like Ghost. It really is kinda boring.
