Stretching excercises but not too vigorously as you can hurt yourself...seek professional help

How old are you and how fit? Best mastered when you're young. I used to be able to do it, practised gymnastics for years. As you get older you become less supple, even when you do yoga exercises daily. Frustrating!

I would have loved to have done the splits myself but never could, my sister was amazing at it though, guess she got the flexible genes in the family, you go girl and learn and good luck.

im a guy and i can do the splits very easily.......i always have been able to..........

although it can be quite silly (especially for a guy) and fun, it takes a little commitment and its not easy.........

but i do enjoy finding new ridiculous places to do the splits......

heres a good link with all the necessary stretches..........its very similar to what ive used

good luck............just stick with it.........itll take a few weeks but if you keep at it youll get it eventually

if you have any questions just mail me

Yoga! I'm 41 and can still do the splits. Yoga is not for people who *are* flexible, it makes you flexible. Try it, it's good for you! Mind, body and soul.

Best tried when you are very young and supple but not impossible as you get older, just harder and more painful if you pull a muscle

I've never been able to do it either!!
Looks ever so slightly painful!!!!

I'd imagine you would have to be fit and supple!!

Keep practising but be careful!

I would expect if I attempted them I would never walk again. Plus I have a fear that my knackersack would explode.
