I went a few weeks ago and bought popcorn so my 3 yr old grand daughter could see real popcorn being popped and it was stale! I guess they dont sell much of it now days and it had probably been on the shelf forever. It was yucky!

I make mine in the microwave, i guess like most other people, but orville redenbocker made the microwave popcorn an invention...pretty neat isn't it! I think the ones in the pan are cool looking though, I am just too scared to make it when I am home alone because I might turn into a scary movie!

Humans are slack. We drive instead of walk. Fly instead of drive. Use a microwave instead of a pan.

It's quick and convenient, no one wants to sit back, relax and watch a movie and worry about cooking.

People still do use a pan if they want to make large amounts of popcorn for a function or if they are cautious with their money.

That's old school, and its more dangerous than the microwave version, well that's if you don't push 12 minutes for the microwave popcorn.
