Compliment them on how brilliant they are (but say it with a straight face) and then walk away!

First of all the one thing that you never want to do is argue with them (it will only make you look stupid as well). The second is to deal with them as little as possible this will lower the stress level of having to deal with the stupid people.

1. Ignore them.
2. Unfortunately, stupid people tend to rise up the corporate ladder, too - so they may end up as your boss.
3. If what they do is annoying as well as stupid, avoid them.
4. If they persist in being stupid AND annoying and won't leave you alone...take the offensive position - seek them out! Tell them you want to talk to them about any of the following:
A. Scientology, Jehovah's Witness, any wacky religion.
B. Amway products
C. Girl Scout Cookies
D. What happened on American Idol last night.
They will then RUN away as quickly as possible - problem solved! Any of these will work.

Just try to ignore them, their really is no way to deal with people like that.

Keep your dealings with them professional and as simple as possible; and avoid them as much as your job responsibility allows.
You can drown in the wake of a sinking ship by being too close when it finally goes under.

First and the last best thing i would do at my job place is never make a friend who is to be stupid,but finally if you has already made friendship with him try to embrass him or her when a group is joint,make some idea to way u can embrass him,and do it till he begs for his repect and fame.
