You will probably be out in about 3 months .. most prison terms in Scotland are halved if you are a well behaved inmate....

under 4 years you do half before your released, over 4 its 2 thirds of the sentence, IE 6 years would be 4 served before you can be considered for release

Well I'm pretty sure it would be six months, but you better check with the Scottlandish athourities before you make any type of final answer for that...after all, six months might not equal six months.

Same as England - you would probably serve 3 to 4 months (third off for good behaviour)

Depends on how long you were in remand for (the amount of time you were imprisoned before your case is heard) and the severity of the crime. Normally you could expect to serve three to four months if you keep out of trouble.

3 months half the sentance...

anything over 3 years you do two thirds..

persistant offenders the same as above but tagged during the remainer of there sentance..
