Does anybody think the Atlanta Braves have a shot at winning the Eastern Division pennant this year?

if they had gotten wickman before the start of last season, they would've won the division last year.... with a revamped bullpen I don't see why they wouldn't win a weak division. who else would win the mets and their social security pitching staff or the phillies...their management will always find a way to screw them up...the fish will trade cabrera so they won't win and the nats are horrible

The Braves won't even make the playoffs, let alone win the Series. They're not good enough to beat out the Phillies this year, or even the Mets. The best case scenario for Atlanta is third place in the NL East, and if the Marlins, who have a good, young team and pitching staff, can put things together, the Braves might end up fourth.

I'm a big Braves fan, but would have to favor the Mets even though they have shaky pitching. That being said they have an improved bullpen and some solid every day players. They will need to stay healthy and get a solid contribution from some of the young guys. LF and 2B will need some production. But as we know, never count out the Braves.

No, Because of the METS and PHILLIES, they'll both better chance of the Division and Wild Card.

Plus the Braves are Older Teams they don't have the Farm as healthy or Strong as they once Did.

3rd Place in the NL east is where they'll be at.

They can win the division but I'm not saying they will.I predict they will finish in 2nd place with 87 wins and just miss the wild card.

Probably not. They need a few components to get back to where they usually are.
The Mets and Phills are probably a little better in that division.

I think they have a shot. The Mets pitching is getting old and theyre getting old fast.

No-they'll be battling the Marlins for third, behind Philly and NY.

I think they have a better pitching staff so they will be better than last year, that and the mets pitching is a little thin.

Nope. Not a chance.
Ain't gonna happen.
Not this year.
Not next year.
Not the year after that,
or the year after that.
