I have 2 -

- Put ankle weights on and jump rope. The extra 10-20 pounds will do wonders

- Hold something heavy - weights, scrap metal, bricks, anything. If you can, hold them above your head. Or work yourself up to that point. Then just vertical jump. Straight up. Over and over again.

Do these exercises until you can't go on anymore, then do 10 more.

first of all, how old are you? see, our bodies physically mature with age and as your muscles strengthen with maturity, normally your physical capabilities get maximized. If you are barely a teenager and not in your mid teens i think that's a very tall order, if not a physical impossibility given the time frame, and also considering your height (5'2"). Imagine, if you stretch your arms and your total length from the bottom of your sole to the tip of your fingers is, let's say, 5'10", then you have to make up for about roughly 4 feet in disparity between your height and the 10 foot goal. You have to be able to leap 48 inches off the floor, and I must say, THAT is an almost physical impossibility to most people, especially when you think how high flyers like Dominique Wilkins, Vince Carter, Dr. J etc. vertical leaps are in the low to mid 40's. These guys are trained, they do calisthenics and weights, and are in the NBA's top tier when it comes to athleticism. Two months training is not going to cut it friend.

yes the guy above me made a good point, if you are still a kid you shouldnt be working out this much as it may stunt your growth etc. but if you are at least 15, 16 I'd say you should be buying some jump soles, they really helped me, they are supposed to improve your vertical by an inch every month if you do it 10 minutes a day.

you will lose the bet. UNLESS you buy strength shoes. check ebay. do the exercises they tell you. power skips. jump rope, box hop, 50 yard hop. etc. the shoes will help. i am 5 ft 9 and was dunking. but it takes a good 3 months, of 3 days a week to do it. then you need to rest a week,. and your jump will be there.

No MATTER WHAT+++++ do not put ankle weights on. all that does is ad pressure on your weak ankles. NOT GOOD> only dumb people do that...

don't use weights unless u want to screw up ur body. do ab crunches, lots of jump rope, toe raises and stretch ( not to the extent of pain). these are just some of the things that should help u improve ur vertical leap.
