Cameron is a rich right-winger who believes if he pretends to be green then all the lefties will love him. Well this leftie has seen right through him and certainly won't be giving the Tories my vote ever.

A politician taking the populist approach before they are elected? Good lord! The policy of the Tories is no greener in reality than Labour - so I would say, no.
The most obvious example was riding his bike to work - great PR, till it turned out a car followed with his paperwork.

I don't think a taxation on air travel will make much of a difference. It looks good as a political action, but as tax and insurance cost more than the ticket to most places in Europe already - it won't make too much impact. people will still fly.

If the money were directed to improved efficency of the aviation industry (and how likley would that be?) it may be useful, but they are at least 20 years away from making much 'greener' aircraft. This is probably best left to the market.

No he has not.............not that I have heard anyway!!! That said, why should the Conservatives be pressured into putting forward "policies", potentially 3 years before an election, just to give the Media something to report and the Labour Party something to shoot at.? David Cameron should, and maybe realises that Headline Catching Policies will only come back to bite him in the next three years!!!!
Remember, "New" Labour Party was swept to power in '97 without a single 'Policy' to it's name. Its whole 'Campaign' was based on the premise that it had to be better than the then Government of John Major.

David Cameron is a terrible leader for the British Conservatives.

He only wants to raise taxes, and "flip-flops" on a lot of issues. His ideas are out of touch with the British people. The Tories should on known better than Cameron.

The guy is an empty vessel. He will say anything to get elected. He will always be obedient to capital and the business community. The guy got rich by lying for the rich: think about who he will serve.
