-click on start > run
type msconfig
press ok
Click on the Startup tab
Look for the entry MotiveSB
Uncheck it if found
click on save
click on close
press restart
after restart check the box that appears and close the window

That should remove its entry from startup.

-You can uninstall the 'Motive smart Bridge' or 'Verizon Online Support Center' if it has an entry in
control panel > add/remove programs panel

Sounds like you got a program starting up with Windows....there are a couple things you can do...but I would first look at your startup folder and see if anything in there is close to the Motive thing and delete it from the startup folder...or in your Start/All Programs/StartUp
or you can go in the registry...but ya got to be carefull in there..you do something wrong and boom..your puter might not even startup! Go to Start/Run/type in regedit/ then go to the following: HKLM/ Software/ Microsoft / Windows/ Current Version / Run and see to the left if ya see the Motive thing and right click...delete! Also ya might check the HKCU tree as well with the same info as the last reg key!

Take your tower to a PC guy in your town. They can reinstall your hard drive, and add virus protections you may not have, but need. Go to an expert. I had similar problem, and it was corrected. Pop ups are a scourge for all of us. good luck.
