Hate is such a strong emotion. Why do you hate him? TO truly hate someone you must know them at a personal level. You may hate the things he's done or what he stands for, but to hate the person without even meeting them is just disturbing. Personally I don't think he is a good president, I believe he believes he's doing what needs to be done. I wish he would take advice from his advisors and step back and rethink where he's taking us. But I also believe that the other options we've been given in the last few elections were not good ones and we just have to live with the moron we have for now. Hopefully both parties front candidates that are not at such political extremes that it is an "us against them" issue. (so that would leave Hillary out).

The people of the United Sates elected George W. Bush president not once but twice. Like it or not, he was democratically elected to head the country.
Hating someone does not help anything. If you disagree with his policies, help campaign for the candidates for congress and the presidency who will change them. Otherwise, a new president does not guarantee a change in policies. He may even be worse (yes, someone can be worse than Mr. Bush).

No actually I really like Bush. I can honestly say I feel much safer when I go to bed at night since he has been in office. Do I agree with everything he has done No but being President is not a easy task esp at time of war. I think he is doing a fine job he has succeeded at many things. In retrospect I think he is miles above your last president Mr Clinton. OMG he was just terrible!!!

You lemmings never cease to amaze me. Though we may not agree with everything he has done, think of the alternative. Can you imagine what this Country would be like if Gore had won? You thought the terrorists believed we were weak under Clinton, it could be a whole lot worse.
Hate is such a hateful word. And I am glad you don't hate President Bush anymore.

I do not hate Bush.
I do not like the choices he is making as US President, but I do not hate him.
Republican or Democrat, I think this country will be a lot better off on January 20, 2009...the day George goes back to Texas for good.

I must say that I liked Bush and his administration. Regardless of where the media is taking Bush and what he's done, I'd have to say ever since he came into office, things are better. I am a republican, and dislike democrats. I thought Clinton did a good job with our economy, but I didn't like all of the hand-outs he gave to minorities and low-income families. I didn't like the new freedoms that developed in the gay community. I wish we could have skipped straight from Reagan, to Bush, to Bush. And I'd vote Bush in for another term, to let HIM finish his dealings in Iraq.
If you boil all of the political and media BS away, Bush is just out to secure the U.S. status as the omnipotent super power of the world. That is ok with me. I would rather it be that way, then to be in slavery to ANOTHER omnipotent super power. That is really how simple it is. The democrats our out to make friends that have knives behind their back. We will pay for this someday.

He is a visionary who's time will come. His greatness will be remembered whether the Dems win or not in 08'. He knows the Iranians are going to threaten all of OPEC sending a gallon of gas over $8 a gallon. Invading Iraq was the way to sustain the least amount of US casualties then Bankrupting Iran before they could attain nuclear weapons. It cost Iran $20 to produce 1 barrel of oil. The same barrel cost the Saudis $2 to produce.
At $3 a gallon the Iranians can hardly turn a profit and therefore refuse to stop their pursuit of nuclear weapons which is unacceptable to me since they are an extremist terrorist supporting government.
If this is acceptable to you then it is your American right to change the tides with your vote and eventually cost 100,000 American lives.
Man that's freedom for ya.
God Bless America

President Bush is a good man who sticks to his principles and does what he believes is right. I can't hate someone like that, even if I did disagree with some of his decisions.
Paine wrote a letter to Washington that he hated him and wished him a slow and painful death. Lincoln was called a poor speaker. If not for Pearl Harbor and WWII, people would be criticizing FDR to this day. My point is that all of our greatest Presidents have had their critics. It was not until years, even decades, of their decisions that we realized the wisdom of their actions.

Yes, I have respect for Bush, other countries have respect and historians ten to twenty years from now will rate Bush high for sticking to his principals and setting the strategy for a lasting middle east peace...... I look to Reagan as case in point where he was vehemently hated by the left when he was in office, but was rated by historians as one of the greatest American presidents.....
Bush is responsible for the tax cut that improves the economy that was headed toward recession after 9/11. Terrorists were not dealt with during Clinton and thus started the war that was handed to the current administration. The economy has done great under Bush and the deficit is on a huge downward tilt. Bush led the nation as a compassionate and strong leader after 9/11. He helped the US get back on our feet. Bush helped institute security changes and the creation of the Homeland Security Organization to protect the US. He also instituted changes in the monolithic CIA, FBI and other huge governmental departments to collaborate on security issues. This working together was unprecedented but necessary for protection. Bush led the effort to provide federal security in our nations airports. Bush has done tremendous things to protect us and there have been no terrorist activities on our soil as a result of his policies.
