The hugest effect is the melting of the polar ice caps. If Greenland and Antarctica melt down, there will be much of our land underwater. The storms and hurricanes would cover most of the globe. It would be the next great flood.
I really don't think there's much we can do to stop it. I think that it is the earth's natural cycle. We can only help it happen faster.

The effects have been pretty well described already, melting of the ice polar cap, increase of the sea level, modification of the climate toward extreme phenomenae. One effect has been neglected. The major area of storage of the carbon dioxide is the sea. If the ice cap are melting, the surface of the sea will increase and it might be able to absorb more CO2 thus slowing down the global warming.
Now, you will ask me, how water absorbs CO2 ? First by simply dissolving it then with the plants and algues leaving inside.
So it brings us to how we could reverse it : nothing sure but a clue.
The limiting factor to for alguae to grow in the sea is the iron concentration. If we could increase the iron concentration a little bit in the whole ocean of the world, we might increase the photosynthetic algae and then increase the fixation of CO2 by organism and decrease the CO2 in the atmosphere. This is an hypothesis, this is science fiction but who knows ????

There is nothing you can do to stop it. Global warming is a natural thing it happens. The only thing we are doing is speeding up the process. There are just things we could do to slow it down like less pollution with cars and other pollutants that go into the air.

Coastal flooding.
We can't reverse it, what we have already started is way too powerful, and we can't stop burning fossil fuels for many years. We can slow it down and reduce it to a level where we can reduce the amount of money we have to spend dealing with it.
But it will take a long time, years. We need to start now.

effects are-
melting of polar ice caps.
some species of penguin and krill population is decreasing.
migratory animals are disturbed.
breeding grounds are destroyed.
due to warm temperatures the eggs of some species of turtles are producing all female babies & affecting their sex ratio.
we cant change it but we can prevent .by reducing pollution n planting more trees to absorb CO2.this might reduce global warming

This is how it will reverse - The planet will become uninhabitable we will all die - We will no longer pollute the planet - It will slowly become inhabitable again - The survivors will reproduce - We will pollute it again.
Wooow the circle of life!!
