I'm guessing you're interested in US dollars.

If so it's now worth approximately: $120718.56 (in the year 2006) has the same "purchase power" as $20,000 in the year 1967.

Depending on where you live I suppose. But in the USA, not a whole lot, maybe a new car but not a real nice model. Or maybe enough to pay your rent for a year, plus a little food, but that also depends on where you live.
