NHL hockey game to the actual *real* season/playoffs? I don't mind him playing, think he needs that time to himself, but you shoulda seen his face when I told him I have things to do this weekend so he'll have plenty of time to play. He went on and on about matching the playoffs on his game to the playoffs now and you know what? I don't care! Whatever floats his boat, but I just don't get it and when I ask him, he grins and just says he can't explain it. Okaaaaaay. Can anyone here explain?

Wow. I tried explaining Final Fantasy 7 to my wife. Her eyes just sort of glazed over and she looked a bit like she wished she was dead.
I guess it's the kind of thing that you either get or you don't.

Your husband is a lucky, lucky man.
What's he's probably trying to do is match up the teams that are actually playing the real games, so that he can simulate the outcomes on his PS2.
If the REAL hockey games turn out like the games played on the PS2, he might think it's predicting the way the real games are going to turn out. And if you don't mind him putting a few bucks on the winner of his PS2 Stanley Cup, he'll probably place a bet on that team winning the real one.

its just like if he were to ask you how you can spend so much time on yahoo answers. "just because" and you cant explain it.. same with him.. it's just that "i cant stop" feeling...
