i have so much experience in admin/secretarial - i am even considering starting a virtual assistant/pa system.

all the jobs that i find advertised are not what they seem - why are the employer allowed to get away with this? as for agencies, i wouldn't even go there...

Have you though about doing a home study course so you could maybe apply for jobs as a office manager or supervisor these days the workers don't seem to get any benefits just lost of work and know praise the managers just delegate to the administration staff anyway and get all the praise for doing nothing

Because people want to pay peanuts now. Just find a job with no responsibility and as easy as possible because in the end you'll be no better off accepting more responsibility. Been there, done that.

Perhaps the fault lies with you,are you over qualified for the positions your applying for or perhaps your not as good as you think ? Perhaps the best idea would be to work for yourself.
