You could argue that a woman wearing trousers is cross-dressing, couldn't you? Does this question apply to women too? I used to wear boxer-shorts for the comfort!

I am a gay man, and had done the whole "Dressed As A Girl" thing for charity. It was amazingly un-comfortable to get into, but after the first trip around a dance floor in heels, well, I was amazed by the strength it takes. I did it the second time to support friends who were doing it as a lifestyle, and I got a large number of compliments. That really helped my feelings on the subject. I won't make it a regular lifestyle, but I have a wig. And more importantly, I have alot more friends to escort down the street, when they are in full tilt drag. I am never prouder these days, than when I am in a fine shirt and trousers, escorting my favorite eight foot "Lady-friend."
Blessings on all who know the feeling of support from the cross-dressing community, and more on those who do the supporting....

I started when I was about twelve. I'm 26 now and only do it on the odd occasion. I told my eldest sister. She is a year younger then me and I had to tell somebody. She helped me along and told me not to be ashamed. my reason for crossdressing is that it is just a fun thing to do. A thrill. I have got lots of items of clothes. Stuff that would make a woman jealous to be honest..hehe.. I have never gone out dressed up and if I was going to I would need lots of help with makeup and such. I dont think I could ever stop to be honest. Tried to stop so many times but I find myself going back. I just love it too much. They say its hard for a crossdresser to stop and they are so right.

I can't remember not wanting to dress as a girl and it was a regular thing as long as my sister and I were the same size. It started with shoes and I had to start buying my own when I was about 17. When I got my own place I was able to start building a wardrobe and eventually found other cross dressers and soon got into a social group and spent many weekends dressed. Most CDs have a purge and try to forget about dressing but the urge comes back with a vengeance which is a wonderful excuse to go shopping for more lovely clothes.

I started when I was like 12 years old, now I'm 25. Only like a few people know about it and they are okay with it. I told them. I don't see any reason to stop, not doing anything wrong, so why should I? I like it very much and someone else should have the same feeling too. I don't go the whole 9 yrds and dress up, just some of the more comfortable womens clothes and panties.

Why do you ask so many questions about this on here? Are you insecure or would you like someone to help you that knows whats what. You should really tell us all and I am sure no one will put you down and perhaps you will get some offers of help. We are all kind, sensitive people on here. Well apart from the bible bashers. I really feel for the people here because so many want to be what they feel and society wont let them. Be a free spirit and dont give a care about others we all have to live our lives the way we feel.

I started when i was about 10 yrs old.did it off and on for about 20 yrs. and for the past 10 yrs I wear panties all the time and dress in the evening after work. My gf knows and we go shopping together all the time. I told her when we started our relationship 6 yrs ago. I love it and plan on coming all the way out of the closet soon.

Well I'm transsexual and i first started dressing as a girl in private when I was 6 or 7. Now I am full time female and on hormones, but since my parents don't know about the hormones and arn't happy that I'm a woman, I have to cross dress the other way when I go home. Confussing isn't it.
Whats worse is that my breasts are starting to become noticable, so soon I'm gonna have to bind them too if i haven't told my parents. God my lifes weird...

I started cross dressing at 13. I still do some 16 years later. mY girl friend knows an she is very supportive, i told when she found one of my skirts. I tired stopping before but now she knows i have no desire to stop. I do not dress as a girl but rather dress in girls clothing like skirts and quite happily go ot wearing a skirt. It is just another peice of clothing, if wearing a skirt i usually wear panties, but that is it, just a man wearing a skirt. You all prob know they are a lot more comfy and greater choice in fashion. I am very happy wearing gilrs clothing would not stop now i have support and will carry on for time to come. Infact we both go shopping togther and have an even healthy relationship because of it.

I still like silky panties, but I wear jeans and a flannel shirt, boots and a cow boy hat, most of the time. I am a girl, but that is OK. Now my boyfriend he wears the same, and which part doesn't match. Right the silky panties. Even though I am dressed in as many male things as he is, society still finds it wrong that he would even consider wearing a pair of female underpants. Me after I got over the shock, it is kind of sexy. For him it started playing dress up with his older sister, he did it off and on and finally shared it with me, one Halloween. He told me he at times wished to stop, but was not able to. So for peace of mind I go along with it. He can dress up as a female, wearing everything it takes, breast forms the whole thing and look like a pretty convincing. We go to the movies some times as a girls night out kind of thing, it is relaxing to him almost a need to every now and then express his feminine side, see how men actually treat us women. Guess that's it oh ya he started when he was 11 or 12 and a few or our friends know. Most were pretty shocked, as I was because he's quite a tough guy, I would have never expected. But like the saying goes you have been a bad boy now be a good girl. Have fun with who you are, accept yourself, look at it as a gift, don't let it make you crazy. Shelly
