Yes. If you go to their website, and research the ingredients, you will discover that eating one burger, an order of fries, and a drink will make you consume over 1200 preservatives, chemicals, artificial colors, artificial flavors, and all other sorts of toxic stuff. McDonalds, and all other fast food joints should be labelled as toxic waste dumps. Look at the ingredients JUST in their french fries! French fries should consist of Potato, salt. oil. period. Nasty! *shudders*

People aren't stupid. We know what is good and bad for bodies. A warning label would insulting. Warning on fast food like directions on a shampoo bottle....completely useless. As far as taxes, my fine state of Washington is working on putting a "sin" tax on fast foods, which I think is crap. The only reason taxes are on cigarettes and booze is because of the money the state gets. It's not for the protection the people. If people really want something bad enough they will find a way.

By now people should be able to know what is ,and is not good for them , we do not need warning labels on everything . People are responsible for their actions , it is not up to the Government to be demanding warning labels . besides the government really does not care , we eat bad things , and smoke , the govt. makes money , when we go to the doctor ,and get medication from those bad things the govt. gets money , I have seen healthy people die young , everyone needs to stop being so concerned with all of this mess , and just enjoy living another day , no one is guaranteed tomorrow so why worry about it . And enough with the tax thing we all pay enough already some more than others but we all pay enough as it is ..

McDonald's pays big money to keep legislation from being enacted that would force them to make their food more healthy.
DId you know there is a machine called an extruder that they put all the meat in and it's squeezed out under pressure to make the patties? You are getting stuff in those patties that if you knew what it was you would never eat it. My cats will not even touch McDonald's food. What does that tell you?
I agree with your question. There should be a warning and a huge tax put on their food. It is killing American people and has been for quite sometime through obesity, heart disease and diabetes.

No to both, people need to take responsibility for their own health. Nutritional info should be available, to help people make informed choices, but warnings on cigarettes haven't helped in the last 30 yrs (or however long the warnings have been on the labels).

No way!! In that case put warning labels in everything we buy and use. Americans are not stupid, we know what we eat , what we drink, what we breath so why do we need the government to tell us what to input on our bodies.

I think the govenment should just let us live our lives the way we want. Everyone always looking to protect everyone. Let me live and die the way i want if i want to eat fast food all the time and get fat and have a heart attack then let me. If I want to smoke cigs. and get lung cancer or someother thing you get from smoking then let me do it.
