it depends on what you define as spending time with them,I am in love with someone I have not physically met yet but I spend "time" with him everyday, talking . If it is someone you know from afar and have never really even had a conversation with that is infatuation,a form of puppy love-a crush quite simply

You've spent time with them. They just didn't know about it. What happens in the mind and heart are just as real to us as what gets manifested in real life. Why do you think Internet love is so prevalent. Everyone saying no just hasn't experienced it and they have differing definitions of love. Some call infatuation love, some call admiration love. some call lust love. But YOU DECIDE what is love for you. My answer is YES. Just ask a stalker, a devoutly spiritual person or a pregnant mother or her husband.

OH ........YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS......

This even sometimes happen from the first talk... EVEN OVER THE TELEPHONE....Not face to face....

It takes a Decent Lady (or the other way around) to demonstrate to a fine Gentleman HOW A FIRST LOOK FIRST MEETING FIRST IMPRESSION IS POTENTIALLY APPLICABLE TO MAKE THEM GET BOTH IN LOVE FROM THE FIRST HOUR; Mme.

I understand Spending Time as actually mingling with the other party, and experiencing the other from a distance as well as at a close...

If the "One Hour" I am talking about up there is considered as SPENDING TIME...then No Mme. , This is not applicable.

Hope I got myself clarified...

Sounds like your falling for someone you've been chatting with in cyberpace. I'd be careful, it is easy to assume a different personality here, and mask our true selves. Without spending real time with a person, do you REALLY know them?

No that is not possible to me. That is a illusion of love for that person. Love takes time and getting to know the whole person.

I dont beleive you can be IN love, but you can certainly love the words you read from someone, the words they speak on the telephone, their voice ect. But IN love is something you do/do not feel when you actually meet that person.

Yes, I think it is possible. But the question is: Are you in love with that person or with the idea you built of him?

This is a hard question to answer...i believe you can develop very strong feelings, but to truly love someone, i think you really need to interact face to face.

no

it is the small things that they do the quirks and faults that make up a person and you have to love them and know the "real" person to fall in love or be in love with them

you can be infatuated by their thoughts they type to you or what they say on a phone
