When I was with Bank of America, the second largest bank in the United States, and the largest deposit accounts holder in the United States, I remember that they had something called "pay for performance." In which you attained a regular salary, plus an extra compensation based on how well you do. This could range anywhere from $300-$600 monthly. Not sure if that's what you were asking though.
