The only time I went out without my mobile the car broke down and I had to walk two miles to a pay phone! No - I can't go out without my mobile!

I could live without using it to make or receive phone calls but would miss getting phone numbers from it. I keep an address book but my mobile is probably more up to date. I don't know anyone's phone numbers off the top of my head now like in the old days!

it is funny how it has now proved to be difficult to go without your mobile phones when about a decade ago most people did not own one. They are an incredible invention..I really feel low and lost without mine as my family and friends cannot get hold of me easily when I havent got one on me. I feel restricted as to what I can do. Emails are great,.,,,but how do people email you while in the pub to ask you to join them>..mmmmh! What are the chances of finding your friends if you loose them on a night out without txting 'whr r u? x'....you know I cannot do without mine thank you I think I will need it when I am in a nursing home aswell...by that time I wont be txtin 'you are hot' to my fling BUT 'Ps nurse I need commode!!' effective uhhh!!

Yes because I don't have a mobile at the moment and no one is going to look for me.

NO!because it helps me keep in touch with family if I go out,and also if I'm in trouble,or being attacked it is always wise to have a mobile in any case.

I would not do without my mobile phone.
For safety when driving if your car breaks down for instance, esp for a woman.

The family can get in touch with you when you are away from home.

One has got so used to having one it would be hard to do without one.

On saying this, what did we ever do before we had one.?

No, i would not like to be without my phone.

No, because I am always on the move and my kids are able to get in touch with me. If it wasn't for my kids, I would say yeah. Everybody else could wait until I got home. Although, because of my cell, my home phone is useless. It's only function now is to collect dust.

i find it really hard to go out without my mobile. its sat on my desk at work now, and its always in my bag or my pocket. even when i go to the cinema, theatre or out for a meal its only off for as long as absolutely necessary.

however on the rare occasions when i do forget it or am forced to be without it i find it really nice and liberating that no-one can get hold of me to ask me stupid things or ask me to do something.
