i believe Elton John is very generouse, but his football club is not, i am trying to raise funds for childrens hospice and asked them for a small token, they sent me a letter saying i could buy something from thier shop and they could get it signed and also it would cost £5.00 postage, is this mean or just business?

Elton John doesn't own Watford anymore. I believe they are somewhat cash-strapped at the moment.

I wonder how many requests they get every week from similar good causes? If they gave to everyone they would be out of business. As their shirts are going half price now it would be a good time to get one signed. Watford are NOT cash strapped and they are a business. Susan try their sponsors

Elton John is not involved in Watford FC and hasn't been for five years. Don't drag his name into your petty little spat.

Unfortunately football has dissapeared up it's own ***. It used to be for the fans, but now it is only for the shareholders.
