The problem is that my bf doesn't feel the beat when he's dancing. Seems like he has his own melody in his head and dances according to it. We would like to attend waltz classes, but I'm afraid that he will damage my feet :)

Dancing is a form of art. Unfortunately, a lot of bf's do not know how to dance....smile, but wait there is hope. Get your guy to listen to music with a heavy percussion section, and on every beat of the drums, start dancing and move to each beat.

Good luck, and keep trying, don't give-up. Dancing is a terrific form of closeness in a relationship, and allows each of you to express who you are by the way you dance.

Ciao for now.....smile.

You either have it or you don't. I married a man like that and never could get him to dance w/o being terribly uncomfortable. He was raised a Baptist so that could have been the trouble. You know the old joke-why won't Baptists have sex standing up? Someone might think they are dancing. LOL Good Luck and God Bless

Well the teacher will help him find the rhythm. You can also teach him yourself, try playing some music and teach him at home
