I'm an old flower-child and back in the day a VW was cool. Modern hippies drive cars that have been converted to run on veggie oil or,if they can afford it,the cars that are made to run on ethanol or electric (battery). The poor hippies drive anything small.

Hippies are normally spotted in either VW microbuses or VW CommVees, which are just vans without the seats at the back. these cars come fully stocked, and can have anything from a kitchen to a full blown house in them. They are normally painted on the outside to show the nature of the hippie driving it, and normally have a peace sign somewhere on it aswell.

The perfect hippie mobile is a VW Van...with a poptop, and don't forget the peace signs and the Seatl Your Face stickers either!
