For all those people ranting about how Muslims do not do enough to assimilate into society, remember this, it was not Muslims who protested that it should be changed to puppies, some PC idiots made the ASSUMPTION that it would be offensive. Its the same with a lot of PC garbage i.e winter lights, black sheep etc It is never minorities who demand these things be changed, it is just people in power who ASSUME minorities want these things changed without using any common sense and more importantly without consulting the people that these things supposedly offend..I have never heard of a Muslim who is offended by Christmas or by a children's story about pigs for that matter!!!
All this PC rubbish does is create an attitude of resentment against minorities because people feel their traditions are being sidelined but most sensible people will understand that a children's story about pigs is just that, a CHILDREN'S STORY!

Trust the Daily Mail to flag such a pathetic story. Muslims would NOT be offended and anyway, the decision was reversed today. The big bad wolf can now play with theThree little Pigs.
I suggest you stay away from comic strips like the Mail and read the a real paper like the Guardian - http://www.guardian.co.uk/

It's definitely political correctness gone stark raving bonkers, it was in my paper today along with a report of the arrested Golly rag dolls, apparently a lady had phoned the police to say they were offencive.

The golly's were later released after it was found there was no crime committed. What the hell is that all about!!!!! Bring back baa baa black sheep, black boards etc. and save the Golly wogs oops sorry Golly rag dolls

I had to comment to the "Daily Mail".
This is what I wrote:

So merry ol' England is now touchy-feely about causing irreparable harm to dear, sweet Muslim children?
More’s the pity that the sensitive Brit liberals lost their stiff upper lip of resolve (let alone lost their backbone).
To revise children’s books is just a step away from revising thousands of years of British history…just to accommodate a small section of the country.
If Miss Gill Goodswen was so concerned about offending anyone, why didn’t she think about this in terms of her British Jewish citizens, years ago?

Oh I see ! ....So it's not OK to be offensive to Pigs, but OK to be offensive to Puppies is it?...I read the article, and thought the whole thing was ridiculous!!
It's just the story of someone bullying someone else. What difference does it make what sort of creatures are involved?
....It'll be Goldilocks and the three Budgies next! ("Who's been in my Cage then?" or "Who's been eating my Cuttlefish then?")
