We will stay one night in Osaka to catch my flight from Kansai airport. Instead of staying in Osaka, is there any good Ryokan with Onsen nearby? If so, how can I get there and airport? Also any idea how much will it be? Thanks for your help.

Arima is one of the oldest onsen in Japan, It is about 1 hour drive from central Osaka. There is a daily bus commuting between Osaka and Arima. For details, visit

(They only have Japanese pages of timetable and tariff )

If you go to the airport next day, take the same bus back to Osaka and catch a train or bus to KIX. It will take about 3 hours from Arima to KIX, so If your flight departs in the morning, I recommend NOT to stay in Arima.

For more information about Arima and Ryokans, visit here.

I take it you will be arriving in Kansai Airport. At this airport there is a great Kansai Information desk - they will be able to answer all your questions and point you in the right direction. Also the same place has a load of English brochures around, flick through, I am sure you will find something.
