any how you missed that interview. communicate to them politely the reasons for not attending to the interview and request them fo modify the timings. there is nothing wrong in saying like that.

You can call and say you had an emergency come up and you need to reschedule. Apologize and offer times when you can do the interview or a time to talk to arrange a new one if you are unable to reschedule at the moment. Be prepared to possibly lose the position but things happen in life that you can't control. I'm sure the company will give you a second chance...at least, most will. Good luck.

Yes but if they ask if you can reschedule, then you better be able to when they want you to or you probably wont get another interview. also be very polite, and dont try too hard to give them a bunch of bad reasons why you cant go.

Not only is it ok, it's imperative that you call as soon as you can and let them know you can't make it so they can schedule someone else for that time slot.
I presume it's a job interview?
I hope you have a VERY good reason for having to cancel...this would not be starting out on the right foot if it's for a position you seek.
