What's your opinion about those people who practice dangerous extreme sports like skydiving or rock climbing? Crazy or not? They know there is a risk of getting killed or seriously injured, so why are they doing it?

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. You just feel so good after...It's what life is all about. A definite purpose...Do abungee jump or fly coaster, or snowboarding/surfing...the rush is THE best thing in the world. No need to think or find meaning, or search anything in your life, you've found it. And it's not an acheivement, it's an eternal thing, a movement, you can always get more. When you've reached a plateau in your performance, you just rest, stretch, do some yoga, martial arts, lay low for a while...and when you get back out there you go through the roof. It's an art. The fact that it's never-ending makes it fullfilling. And the risk factor, well, better than fading away in life.

these people most likely have a lack of fear which in some cases can be a symptom of a personality disorder, more often than not though they really do just enjoy the thrill, the thrill of knowing that that moment could be their very last one on earth. Others may just like the attention or praise from mastering such feats. Strange but true.

Every person is different. These kinds of sports are hobbies of adventurous people. If they have fun doing this then it is their will to do so. These kinds of sports evoke the ability of human beings to accept challenges in the real life, they create the very feeling that is really necessary to take challenges and succeed in the real life.

I had a pal whose dad would pull the motor vehicle up on the backyard so she ought to coach backflips off the hood onto grass (much less skinned noses and chins that way). you are able to create a game. Skateboard races down hills (with pads and helmet of direction - gotta say that to cover my rear) or purely start up mountain climbing something it particularly is interior of reach. yet another rather cool thought is to work out in case you will locate books approximately a thank you to alter right into a stunt guy - or locate someplace on line the place you will get in touch with a real one. in line with possibility if one lives close sufficient to you he can start up coaching you the thank you to do loopy tricks with out having your self killed!!!

While I do think they are crazy, I also envy them to some degree for living life to the fullest and not letting fear hold them back. I also think that it can't go on forever. At some point in your life you have to be more responsible. When you have others who depend on you for example....a wife and children.

In my opinion it isn't up to me to lable them.

I would be a lot faster and willing to label someone that tends to judge others. Hey if they enjoy the rush good for them. Just like us in here spending our time answerring questions. anything anyone does will be considerred dumb to some and great to others. So my answer is they are the same as us just with differrent ideas. We are all good...lets

Everything is risky. You can die in a car accident or in an airplane. I personally love doing crazy things too...bungee jumping etc. It gives you a rush and makes you feel more alive. I say it's better than going to drugs. :P
