I have a virus showing up as Memory/ZwQuerySystemInformation. My security detects it each time and says that it has been removed, but I can scan again right after and it still shows up. Any ideas on this?

To start the puter in safe mode...restart your puter and when you see the BIOS screen at startup keep pressing the F8 key until you see the menu for safe mode startup. You might have to do this a few times since the F8 key thing in sensitive...sometimes you will miss the chance and Windows will startup in reg mode!
Once you get to that screen choose Safe Mode and you will be logged in as administrator. Also as stated in your last reply...turn off system restore and then remove the virus...you can also go to Symantec's Security Check site and do a scan (you'll have to install a activex control for this but it's ok) and when the scan finds any boogers..it should give info or tool on how to remove the booger you have on the puter!

turn off System restore, start the computer in safe mode and scan again. It will then be deleted permanently.
