If you added the data without the help of a computer, you can use the same device to remove the data. Otherwise you need a computer to delete the data by various means from your hard drive.

You have to physically remove the hard drive from the computer. Usually you can just unscrew it and disconnect anything hooked to it and buy another hard drive. refer to a nerd magazine or a computer modification guide if you need more help. thats the basics.

depending on the hard drive it will automaticially be cleard when it is take from the computer, you can have a computer store do it for you or you can get a potable case and connect it to you computer and clear it like a flash drive, but the best thing to do if you had personal info. on it would be to smash it to bets and throw it out.

Ummmm....set it on fire? You need some sort of computer to access it, since that is how the information was stored in the first place.
