im 22 and i susualy sleep 10-12 hours ..is it too much?

the average is 8 hours,i don't think 10-12 is too much everybody is different

7 hours of sleep is the ideal time. If you sleep more than 8 hours, that means your character will be lazy and considered as good for nothing ! Sorry to say this ! In a country when millions are starving and working hard just for a meal, how can you have so much of sleep. You need to do something creative and makes this life blessed by working more and help the people who are really need help. Sleep enough, but not too much, too much is too bad !

About 8. 10-12 is not too much. In Fact it is good for your health. 6-7 is the minimum number of hours' sleep recommended.

It depends on what you did the night before. If you were drinking the hours you say you slept are probably about right, but if you went to bed sober, 8 hours is all you need. I am 51 and if I sleep over 6 hours I feel worse than if I hadn't slept at all.

Well at any age, you should at least get 8 hours of sleep overnight. However, if you are tired, especially when your job requires a lot of energy, it is a wise step to take a nap. But not too long, just about an hour or two.

It is much more than average. This runs from about 5-8 hours. If you have any other symptoms of ill health either see your GP or perhaps look at your lifestyle.

Do you eat well, plenty of fresh fruit and veg? Do you take exercise, which believe it or not tends to revitalise you rather than make you feel tired.

Actually...yes. The average person about your age should typically sleep about 8 hours. If you sleep too long, you could be more fatigued, or tired, since your body isn't getting the necessary exercise it needs to properly function..

Don't know about you but I need as much sleep as possible and I only got about 2 hours sleep last night!!!

yes it is too much but it is of no harm. the average sleep hrs recommended are 8 hrs
