Limited service means that you can't make or receive calls accept sos, (emergency services). Could either a faulty handset or maybe, or the phone is blocked, also your simcard may not be isnt inserted properly or it might need a clean, clean the chip on the simcard and the contact pins on the phone. You need to contact your service provider for more information. It maybe that a cell (transmitter) where you live maybe down.

Is it the sim that came with the handset? if not ie your hanset is on Orange and you're using a T-mobile simcard the handset may not work if the phone is not unlocked (open to all networks) Try switching the phone off and back on again

I hope you get it sorted out.

Ok dude, If it is on all the time then the handset has been blacklisted (the imei is disable by the network) or (more usually) the handset is seeing a stronger signal from another mobile company network and cannot get onto it's home network. Try switching band on the phone or try a manual network selection.
