I'm shocked and confused as 4 WEEKS AGO my female friend said that our FRIENDSHIP IS OVER!That I should move on wth my life and she wishes me all the best.(we didn't speak for 4 months-I wanted a break from her-got too close(had feelings for her)+she was indecisive to what she wanted).

We met 3 WEEKS AGO at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.

I asked her if I could add her as my friend on Facebook(via email)THATS ALL I ASKED,NOTHING ELSE.She wrote bck: asking how I am,what she done on her wkn and said I can add her "as a friend lol"

I said how I was and asked NO questions about her.

SHE WROTE BACK AGAIN, saying I should be having fun with the ladies and to join her appreciation society!Wrote back saying I've been having fun wth other girls-too much fun!(which is the truth!) She didn't reply to my last message.

Why she resume contact? Did she mean what she wrote in the txt?(friendship over)

p.s. only want friendship-nothing more.I've gotten over her now(after another girl!).Only asking if this is positive in terms of FRIENDSHIP - not romanticly!

Also-resume contact: i.e. in asking how I am, when I just asked permission for me to add her as a friend-it's more than being civil if she said the friendship is over!

I did apologise for wanting a break from her-also told her I want to be friends only.(before she wrote that txt)

I don't know, and it doesn't really look like she knows herself whether she wants to stay friends.

Back off completely and see what she does - it sounds like she really doesn't know her own mind and you're best steering clear.

It is very simple, I have seen it a hundred times:

- She is in love with you.

- You like her but do not really want to be settled down, you want to play the field but want to keep her there as an option to fall back on and to fill the gaps between girls.

- She knows this and is therefore hurting whenever she is around you and cannot bear just being friends so she is trying to cut you off and move on.

- How you deal with it is up to you.

This advice might sound harsh, but what is so special about this girl that you are putting so much effort into being her friend?

I know that friendship/relationships go through tough times, but friends should be enjoyed. If friends for whatever reason are no longer enjoying each others company, they should move on.

have you tried to really talk to her personally, aside from electronic communication?
you made an attempt to tell her, thru electronic media, this often times contribute to more misinterpretations or to mistakes like you said, does she mean the message...

what I understand from your narrative, there is miscommunication, she may have misinterpreted your "messages" and did not fully understood what your trying to tell her...
chances are she have different way of understanding "friendship" or "being friends".
or, perhaps, the message was sent to you by mistake. try to straigthen this out with her personally.

ive read your questions so many times all say the same thing..your obviously not over her and if you ask me you sound a bit obsessed with this chick..blatently the girl doesnt wanna know you..and if you keep harrasing her its gonna ppush her away more.you sound really desperate, just leave her alone and wait for het to get in contact with you.if she does want you as a mate then she'll get back to you but jeeezzz please change the record...

I agree with Mr.G
Friendship shouldn't be that difficult and you shouldn't have to chase friends around like this.
Maybe deep down she's upset that your over her?
