If we make films for Oscar then it won't be bollywood any more. How many people have seen an Oscar film compared to a Bollywood hit?. How many people know the names of Oscar stars compared to Indian stars?.

I think Oscar jury members and judges couldn't digest our dances and songs and might be because of taste of Indian people because there are thousands of Western movies and hundreds of Oscar-winning movies which Indian people felt boring and talkative but others are enjoying them.

Main reason I feel it is because of SONGS in our movies.

India loses coz the film made is for the indians. but to grab the oscars we have to visualize the film from the eyes of hollywood and if we do so, the film might not be able to hit the country. and the Indian filmmakers dont know that on wat basis are the films chosen

Bollywood films are made for bollywood not Hollywood...Oscors is an award made by and offered for mostly americans/hollywood filmmakers to encourage them. Our industry is the biggest and makes more number of films than any other industry in the world...Why the hell we should care about Oscros...or why the hell Oscors should be given for Bollywood films. Its made for and by Indians and oscors.
