5 days ago was my son's girlfriends Birthday...when she came to the house, she was dressed really pretty and had her hair done up nice, etc....I told her she looked fantastic and wished her a Happy Birthday and sent them out to dinner on me

Ones I said "It's pretty dark in here, open the blinds" and it brightened that person's day. Very simple thing. It's so simple that I am sure it sounds like a joke to you, but if you knew the circumstances you wouldn't think it was funny at all.

I do it all the time!
I tell my son I love you.every morning. Three simple words.
Or just going thru the checkout at the supermarket and saying have a nice day. Alot people forget how to be polite. Or even talking to the old ladies or men, some of them never talk to people for days. All you have to say is hello and they just smile back and say thankyou.

Yes , sometimes just a couple of words can cheer someone up whose having a bad day.
